Dr. Ronen Bergman is one of Israel’s leading investigative journalists. The recipient of various awards, he is currently senior security and intelligence correspondent and analyst for Israel’s largest daily newspaper, Yedioth Ahronoth. He is also a former senior staff feature writer for the Israeli daily Haaretz.
An authority on Israeli intelligence, Bergman is the author of three best-selling books: Authority Granted, dealing with the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, Moment of Truth, a study of the Yom Kippur War, and Point of No Return, which recounts the clandestine struggle between Israeli Intelligence and Iran and which was the best-selling work of non-fiction in Israel in 2007.

Bergman received his Ph.D. in International Relations from Cambridge University. He has published numerous articles and academic papers on Israeli military history, Hamas, Hezbollah and Iranian-funded terrorism. He lectures on military and security affairs, and teaches investigative journalism at Tel-Aviv University. He is also an anchor on a leading Israeli television news program, and a frequent guest on political talk shows.
